Our clients required two pairs of comfortable armchairs, both light in weight and colour, for their recent breakfast room makeover. As both bespoke Windsor and upholstered easy chairs are now made at St. Georges Works the commission is well suited to our skilled Crafts people.
English ash was chosen for the frames as it is tough and strong with the advantage of being a light clean hardwood. The pair of Windsor elbow chairs are new designs fitted with hairpin back bows, fine proportions yet very strong.
The elegant Goldophin easy chairs are supremely comfortable yet occupy a small footprint, with an upright back and compact neatly upholstered arms.
