A limited edition Windsor armchair made using materials plus remarkable features true to the great engineer’s character and power. Black walnut was selected for its inherent strength, fine grain and dark colouration, supremely suited to the subject. The timber’s character and figure is fully enhanced by multiple applications of Danish oil, giving each chair that ‘must touch’ feeling of a true friend.
The stainless steel under-stretchers take their form from Paddington Stations elegant roof arches and stanchions.
